April 23, 2007 China project goes forward

The recent trip to China by members of our Firm has achieved all its goals.


We´ve had the opportunity to practice the language and gain a deeper knowledge of Chinese culture. At the same time, we´ve had several professional meetings with Chinese colleagues, aimed at setting up reciprocal collaboration schemes that will allow us both to provide our clients with efficient professional support when operating in China and to welcome Chinese clients here in Europe.

Among the many outstanding moments of the trip that will remain in our memory, we can mention our brief but very pleasant encounter with the Spanish Vice- Prime Minister, Her Excellency Dª Maria Teresa Fernández De la Vega, one of the high-ranking Spanish personalities visiting China on this year 2007, designated “the Year of Spain” in that country.

We also had the honour and pleasure of having a meeting with the Spanish Ambassador to China, His Excellency D. Carlos Blasco Villa, for whose very wise and sound opinions about the present and future of China and its relations with Spain we would like again to express our gratitude.
  
We finally visited the ICEX Commercial and Economic Office, on its recently opened new site in Beijing, where we had another interesting meeting from which we got very valuable information which we are sure will result in the strengthening of our internationalization project in China.

As a consequence of the good results and very positive experience of our trip, Becker Abogados is ready to speed up its projects for China.
